Each school and college and most large administrative units choose one or more sustainability ambassadors to communicate initiatives on sustainability, offer advice and insight, report problems or good practices and generally serves as a resource on sustainability at the local level.

The Sustainability Advisory Group is a presidential committee made up of faculty, students and staff to oversee the development of the long range Climate Action Plan and to provide guidance in the implementation of the plan.
