Engineers Without Borders

A student chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) was established at Temple University in 2009 to provide students of all academic backgrounds with the opportunity to assist and provide benefit to developing communities abroad as well as in the Philadelphia area. Environmental sustainability is an underlying theme in many of the projects that EWB is involved, such as the “Dead Umbrella Drive”, “Tree Planting”, and  “Weatherization.” The organization is dedicated to be continuously involved in more projects that result in positive benefits to our environment and communities.
