The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
Founded in 1812, the Academy of Natural Sciences is America's oldest natural history museum and is a world leader in biodiversity and environmental research. For nearly 200 years, the Academy has carried out its mission to encourage and cultivate the sciences, exploring the remarkable diversity of our natural world and sharing these discoveries with the public through innovative exhibits, publications and educational programming.

 

The Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC)
A nonprofit membership organization whose mission is to transform the Delaware Valley through sustainable and environmentally responsible planning, design, construction and operation of the region’s buildings, landscapes, cities and communities, mindful of the legacy left for future generations

 

Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA)
The ECA is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to help people save energy and to promote a sustainable and socially equitable energy future for all in the Philadelphia region. Save energy, save money, save the environment.

 

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)
The DEP’s mission is to protect Pennsylvania’s air, land and water from pollution and to provide for the health and safety of its citizens through a cleaner environment. DEP works as partners with individuals, organizations, governments and businesses to prevent pollution and restore our natural resources.

 

Philadelphia Office of Sustainability
In Mayor Michael Nutter’s January 2008 inaugural address, he pledged to make Philadelphia the number one green city in America. To make good on his pledge, he created the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability.
