Graphic Designer

DEPARTMENT: OFFICE OF SUSTAINABILITY

CAMPUS: MAIN CAMPUS

COMPENSATION: $11.70/HOUR; 8-10 HOURS PER WEEK.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

The Office of Sustainability is looking for an individual with strong skills in graphic design to:

  1. Assist in the implementation of the Office of Sustainability’s communications plan;
  2. Create promotional materials, such as flyers, posters, signage, charts, maps, etc.;
  3. Develop copy for promotional material and events;
  4. Perform general office duties, such as copying, running errands, data entry, etc.; and,
  5. Participate in or perform other general duties/events for the Office of Sustainability.

The successful candidate will be able to develop graphic materials that are appropriate for the various audiences of the Office of Sustainability within a quick turn-around time. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in sustainability, will work well in a team environment, and will be able to meet deadlines as assigned.

Digital Media Marketing Intern

DEPARTMENT: OFFICE OF SUSTAINABILITY

CAMPUS: MAIN CAMPUS

COMPENSATION: $11.70/HOUR; 8-10 HOURS PER WEEK.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

The Office of Sustainability is looking for an individual with strong skills in marketing to:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at reaching students on campus, including but not limited to social media, website, street teams, and tabling.
  2. Assist in the implementation of the Office of Sustainability’s communications plan;
  3. Capture events organized by the Office of Sustainability via photos and video media;
  4. Develop and implement evaluation tools to determine if the marketing strategies have been effective in capturing attention.
  5. Perform general office duties, such as copying, running errands, data entry, etc.; and,
  6. Participate in or perform other general duties/events for the Office of Sustainability.

The successful candidate will have a background in marketing with experience using traditional and new media tools to promote the message of the Office of Sustainability. The successful candidate will be creative and will be able to implement marketing initiatives within a constrained financial environment. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in sustainability, will work well in a team environment, and will be able to meet deadlines as assigned.
