For the second year, during the month of April, the end of tax season raises awareness about the importance of staying safe online, protecting your personal information, and highlighting the best practices in cyber security. To help the Temple community participate in this campaign, the Temple offices of Information Security and Privacy, Community Relations, Sustainability, and Computer Recycling Center have contracted with ProShred to bring you safe paper disposal events. This is the second of two events. Both events will be held rain or shine.
This event is open to the community. Bring your paper to the parking lot entrance on 13th street between Cecil B. Moore Avenue and Oxford Street. For directions, refer to the location of the parking lot on Google Maps. Feel free to pull your car into the parking lot and carry your paper material from your car to the shredder truck. ProShred's secure truck will accept your paper and destroy it. You will be able to witness the paper being shredded on the spot in the ProShred truck. This is also a great opportunity to help protect yourself, and Temple University, from information and identity theft. We look forward to seeing you on one, or both, of these days!
