Do you love the outdoors?  Want to get outside more?  Enjoy working with groups?

More than 5,000 Sierra Club Local Outdoors volunteers lead a range of outings around the nation that are as diverse as their interests. Depending on where you are, you can choose from day hikes, peak scrambles, bicycling, skiing, paddling, bird-watching, conservation-oriented activities, or forays into the remaining natural areas of our major cities.

Last year, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Group of Sierra Club (SPG) hosted a range of events that matched our region – from kayaking tours around the refineries of South/ Southwest Philly to hikes in the parks of Bucks County, from outdoor skills trainings to overnight camping trips.

We are launching a training cycle for new volunteer leaders at the end of February and we'd love your help! Details and registration for the Feb 23rd classroom portion can be found here.
