Description:
Students learn to "read" the landscape through the exploration of the landscape provinces of the Delaware River Basin. Through visiting landscapes in each of the sub-regions, they see how the relationship of geology, hydrology, plant communities, and land use reveals opportunities, and constraints of development inherent in the natural environment.
