|Green Cleaning Program||
In FY17, Temple University made the switch to a green cleaning line. The university requires its cleaning products (with the exception of its quaternary disinfectant) to meet independent verified green cleaning standards.
|Campus Sustainability Week||
This week-long celebration is held annually in October and April to foster awareness and the exchange of ideas and knowledge among students, faculty and staff. An array of events that focus on sustainability from perspectives across all departments and disciplines are planned for the week.
|Temple Surplus Programs||
Temple's surplus programs offer cheap alternatives to buying new and help the university to reduce its waste stream.
|Orientation: Introducing Sustainability at Temple||
The well known adage states "You don't get a second chance to make a first impression". Temple's Office of Sustainability takes that message to heart. Each fall, Temple welcomes new students and their families to campus. The Office of Sustainability uses the opportunity of Welcome Week to reach out to new members of the Temple community to inform them of the university's commitment to sustainability and to ask for their involvement.
