Give + Go Green
Give + Go Green is Temple's on-campus sustainable move-out program. Students donate food and clothing that they do not wish to take with them when they move out of the residence halls in May. Each year, collection boxes are placed in the lobbies of residence halls so that students can easily donate items they would otherwise throw in the trash.
Volunteers are essential part of Give + Go Green. Donations are sorted by volunteers. Clothing items are sorting, stored and sold at Temple Thrift sales each fall. All food items are sent to the Cherry Pantry alongside the clothing sale proceeds, all to combat food insecurity on campus.
