The Office of Sustainability is here to support you and your students.

The Office of Sustainability offers a variety of presentations that can be customized for classes or student groups.  Presentation formats include:

Introduction to the Office of Sustainability Presentation

Background, history and mission of the TU Office of Sustainability and review of institutional climate and sustainability action planning efforts and initiatives, including programming and ways to get involved. Typically, 20 minutes but could be longer upon request.

Subject Deep Dive Presentation

More time on specific initiatives or content related to subject matter and course learning objectives. This requires sharing of syllabi and/or other context from the instructor and the students should have some awareness of office function, plans and/or reports. 30-50 minutes, depending on preference.

Project-Based Learning Experience

Collaboratively develop a research question or problem statement with the Office of Sustainability, ideally prior to the start of the semester. This is typically a semester-long engagement with 3000-4000 level courses. The Office of Sustainability commits to a minimum of two in-person class presentations and/or feedback sessions. This can include independent student research projects.
