Temple Thrift
Each fall, the Office of Sustainability hosts outdoor pop-up thrift sales to promote reuse and raise awareness about textile and consumer waste on campus. All clothing and accessories sold through Temple Thrift are donated by student residents through Give + Go Green, a collaborative sustainable move-out initiative. Most items cost less than $3, and nothing is more than $5.
Proceeds from the sales support sustainability-themed student programs focused on equity and essential needs, developed in partnership with the Division of Student Affairs’ Student Support and Advocacy and the Essential Needs Hub
