Bryce Forys is the sustainability coordinator at Temple University. As coordinator, Bryce works collaboratively with staff, faculty, and students to create programs and initiatives that promote Temple’s commitment to lowering its overall environmental impact. Through student involvement, community engagement, and creative thinking, Bryce looks to support initiatives that will help Temple achieve its goals outlined in the 2019 Climate Action Plan.
Prior to coming to Temple, Bryce graduated in 2022 from the University of Virginia. Graduating with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Global Environments and Sustainability, Bryce used this academic platform to inspire much of his involvement during his undergraduate experience. He conducted research on environmental justice and the energy transition, along with creating the UVA Greener Housing Coalition, an organization dedicated to aligning the university’s sustainability goals with off-Grounds housing.
Originally from northern New Jersey, Bryce spends his free time fly-fishing, skiing, or taking trips to the Jersey Shore.
